Getting Started with a Simple Veggie Patch
In this event, we’ll roll up our sleeves and dive into the basics of creating your very own veggie patch. We’ll cover everything from selecting the perfect spot in your yard—think about sunlight, drainage, and accessibility—to choosing the right vegetables that flourish in our unique Blue Mountains climate. You’ll learn how to create a no-dig garden, and we'll also share tips on soil preparation, ensuring your plants have the nutrients they need to thrive. By the end of this session, you’ll have the skills and knowledge start your veggie patch with material that can be found easily and cheaply.
