Lithgow NSW
This suburban design has a focus on a hardy, perennial, and native edible garden. It aims to supply food for a vegan couple in the cold temperate climate of Lithgow NSW.
The garden beds and paths are against the slope to maximise water catchment and soakage, while making the most of the northern sun exposure.
The garden is a food forest. Every layer is filled with edible plants. With pollinator attracting species and medicinals as well. Each plant supports each other and will require less and less attention over time, while building soil and fertility as it grows.

"Overall even in this early stage we’re saving tonnes of money on our weekly food bill which will only get better as time goes on."
