About the event

Composting Made Easy

One of the most crucial elements of organic gardening: composting! In this event, we’ll demystify the composting process, showing you how to turn kitchen scraps and yard waste into “black gold” for your garden. We’ll discuss the best materials to include (and what to avoid), how to maintain your compost pile, and the ideal conditions for decomposition. We'll cover how to avoid pest problems and smells. You’ll learn about the benefits of composting, not just for your garden but also for the environment, as it reduces waste and promotes regenerative living.
